Deloris Jean Oliver Inge was born November 9, 1933 in Latham, Kansas the daughter of

Willis Leslie and Marie Elizabeth (Preisendorf) Oliver. She completed this life on Thursday,

October 5, 2023 in Oklahoma City at the age of 89.

Jean made her home in Oklahoma City for many years where she was an art instructor at St.

John Episcopal Church School having great positive influence on her students, member of the

St. John's Episcopal Church, member of the Arts Council, supporter of the William Inge

Festival in Independence Kansas, lived in many countries throughout the world with husband

Luther, later in life she enjoyed travel to the middle east.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years Luther Claude Inge, her parents, bothers

John Oliver and Richard Oliver, sister Christina Oliver Spangler.

Jean is survived by her son, William Bradford Inge of Depew, OK; her grandson, Michael

Damien Inge and his wife Kimberly of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren, J. J. Inge, Neil Inge,

Ezekiel Inge and Aurora Inge, nieces Lisa Bales and Cindy Roberts, great nephews Josh and

Justin Mayer

Memorial service will be held at St. John Episcopal Church on October 28 th at 10 am. Inurnment

will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence, Kansas.
