Obituary

Demee "Dee" Dianne (Caporal) Hoshall was born August 25, 1955 in Oklahoma City the

daughter of Peter Sam and Argie (Chalos) Caporal. She completed this life at her home in

Oklahoma City on Monday, April 3, 2023 at the age of 67.

Dee was raised in a loving Greek family in Oklahoma City where she graduated from Putnam

City High School in 1974. She attended Oklahoma City University and graduated from the

University of Oklahoma with her Bachelor's Degree. While at OU she was a member of

Gamma Phi Beta sorority.

Dee married Thomas "Tom" Charles Hoshall on September 23, 1979. They made their home in

Oklahoma City where they raised their two daughters, Alexandra "Lexi" and Christina "Tina".

Dee and Tom were married for 39 years when he died on January 31, 2019.

Always taking care of others, Dee was a bold spirit and nothing was too big or too hard for her

to take on. She might have been slight in physical stature but her presence was strong and

powerful yet understanding and kind. She would light up a room with her beautiful energy,

enthusiasm, and grace. She could enter a room not knowing a soul and leave with a room full of

new friends. Most importantly, she knew the value of a person's word and she always did what

she said she would do.

She thrived on activity and was always busy but never failed to make time for those she loved.

Dee was a traveler and especially loved going anywhere that was tropical and had a beach. She

treasured the time she spent with her family, grandchildren, and her girlfriends. Dee and her

mother, Argie Caporal, were a close-knit team and together they established a travel agency, a

nanny training and placement agency, and then an adult education school which they

successfully ran together for many years. Dee also ran several other businesses up until her

health forced her to stop.

Dee was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church where she enjoyed helping with the

annual festival.

Dee was preceded in death by her beloved parents, her husband, Tom and her brother, Sam

Peter Caporal.

She is survived by her daughters Tina Hess and Lexi Amos, and their husbands Paul Hess and

Matt Amos, and her precious grandchildren, Coe Amos, Holt Amos, Cameron Hess, Elena

Amos and Cruz Hess; as well as numerous Caporal and Chalos cousins.
