Dennis Joe Deason February 1, 1948 – May 11, 2021 Dennis Joe Deason went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday May 11, 2021 at 73. Dennis was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma on February 1, 1948 to Virgil and Dortha (Foster) Deason. Dennis was raised in Cyril, Oklahoma with his brother, Richard and sisters, Nona and Dianne. Dennis graduated from Cyril High School in 1966. After graduation, Dennis joined the United States Air Force that same year. Dennis's career with the Air Force spanned 21 years. He made his way up the ranks and was made a Master Sergeant, specializing in Information Technology. After his retirement from the service in 1987, Dennis took a job with Science Applications International Corp and worked for another 20 years as a site manager until his retirement on April 1, 2007. Dennis was a devoted husband and father. Throughout the years he always made sure his family was taken care of. Dennis was not a man of many hobbies but he did enjoy woodworking in his younger years. After his retirement, Dennis enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with his family. They took many vacations together and traveled to Alaska, Canada, the Caribbean and England. Dennis became a "cruise junky" and was always looking forward to their next cruise destination. Dennis was a quiet and humble man. Although he was very intelligent and skilled, Dennis liked to step back and let others receive the accolades, even if he was responsible for the success of the project. Dennis will always be remembered for his selfless ways and will be missed deeply by his family. Dennis was preceded in death by his: Parents, Virgil and Dortha (Foster) Deason; Wife, Annita Deason; Brother, Richard Deason; Brothers-In-Laws, Steve Parrott and Jim Clanahan. Dennis is survived by his: Wife, Jeannie Deason; Son, Brian Deason and his wife, Brandy; Son, Todd Winans; Daughter, Tonya Mathews and her husband, Sean; Son, Terrell Winans and his fiancée, Kat Stone; Sister, Nona Parrot; Sister, Dianne Barrett and her husband, Roger; Sisters-in-law: Nancy Patchin, Billie Villemain, and Janie Cummings; 9 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; A host of other extended family and friends.
