Dewey Dell McPherson was born October 15, 1947 in Oklahoma City the son of Claude LaDell and Nellie Elaine (Henthorn) McPherson. He completed this life at his home at Cedar Lake on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the age of 73.

Dewey graduated from Putnam City High School and attended OU. He was a Mason and retired from Cox Communications.

He is survived by his wife, Candy; his sons, Ray McPherson, Clinton McPherson and Scott McPherson; his daughters, Angie McPherson, Carly Benson, Stephanie Jordan and Kristin Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Judy Wooden.

Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15 at Messiah Lutheran Church with interment following in the Bethany Cemetery.
