Obituary

Diane Rosemary (Hefner) Powers passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on July 1, 1956 to Jack and Linna (Davis) Edwards. She graduated from US Grant High School in 1974. She raised two wonderful children, daughter, Amber Hefner and son Todd Hefner, whom she loved dearly. Diane met Mike Powers in Oklahoma City and they were joined in marriage on November 9, 2001. She then moved to Arkansas and spent almost 25 years there with Mike.

Diane worked as a marketing representative for multiple insurance companies throughout the years. She worked hard to become a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and also taught many insurance courses.

Diane had a love of traveling the world. She enjoyed her trip for a church retreat to Israel where she created many memories with Mike. Visiting Ireland was another favorite memory for her. Although she loved traveling, Diane’s family was her main priority in life. She treasured her children and doted on her three grandchildren.

Diane leaves behind her loving husband of 25 years, Mike; and daughter, Amber Hefner; son, Todd Hefner and wife, Vennetta; brother, David Edwards and wife Jana; three beloved grandchildren, Tyler, Joslyn, and Autumn Hefner.
