Our sweet Dolores now walks with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She passed Friday July 26th, 2019 surrounded by an abundance of loving family. She was born in Newport, AR on August 23rd, 1939 to Eldo and Zelma Bergen. She graduated from Newton High School in Newton, KS where she met the love of her life Casey Cook. After graduation, she attended Emporia State College. On November 27th, 1960, she married Casey and the two established their home in Oklahoma City. Dolores worked as a secretary for an oil company in downtown Oklahoma City until she became pregnant with their first child. Her true life's work was raising and taking care of her family. She attended as many ball games, recitals, school plays, and any other of her kids' activities as was humanly possible. Always smiling and encouraging, she became the "go to" counselor and prayer warrior for her family, her friends, and her children's friends. Dolores especially loved singing in the church choir where her angelic soprano could be heard every Sunday, and in many programs. Her relationship with Casey was a testament to all of how a Godly, loving marriage should be, and an example to her family. Dolores was loving, enduring, strong, faithful, and empowering. As matriarch of her family, her strength, character, and loving leadership will be continued through the generations. She was preceded in death by her: Parents, Eldo & Zelma Sister, Donna Warden, and Granddaughter, Kaylan Seamans. She is survived by her loving: Husband, Casey; Daughter, Christy & husband Grant Hawkins; Daughter, Shelly & husband Keith McInroe; Son, Brent Cook & wife Cindy; Daughter, Kayla & husband Ben Seamans. Grandchildren: Creigh Hawkins, Chase & Kim McInroe, Coy Seamans, Casey & Brad Dunham, Hunt Hawkins, Bridgette McInroe, Colton & Jill Seamans, Holden Cook, and Harper Cook. Great Grandchildren: Maci & Eli McInroe, and Graham Dunham; and Sister, Nina Hirsch.
