IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dolores Rose
Henley
February 14, 1943 – December 23, 2024
Dolores (Dee) Rose Fender Henley passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 81. She was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, graduating high school from Notre Dame Academy. She married Harry Thomas Henley in 1961 and had 2 children, Teresa Jean (Paul Tremel) and Mark Thomas (Marsha Bell), who were the center of her life. She deeply loved her children and was a proud grandma to 5 grandchildren: Michael, Justin (Becca Maxine), Christopher (Sandahl Masson), Sarah (Chris Decker) and Mariah (Ryan Watts). She was also a doting great grandma, GG as she was called fondly, to Benjamin and Miller. She is survived by 6 brothers and sisters, Sid Fender, David Fender, Debbie Lovell, Mike Fender, Bill Salzbrener, and Marilyn Higa. Dee is also survived by longtime companion and friend, Stanley B. Kangior. She had many friends including a large group of high school classmates, work friends from Mutual of Omaha and close long time neighbors. It was often said that she was little, but so sweet. Dee enjoyed the last six months with Mark and Marsha in a beautiful apartment that they built for her to live in. She had great home cooked meals and company daily that meant the world to her. As Dee put it, "Marsha makes the best banana nut muffins on the face of the earth!". She will be missed dearly by many who knew and loved her.
