Obituary

Dona Flo Greenfield passed peacefully from this life on January 7, 2026, at her home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Born on September 29, 1940, near Chandler, Oklahoma, Dona was the beloved twin daughter of Carl and Margie (Brooks) Greenfield. She graduated from Shamrock High School and later moved to the Oklahoma City area in 1958. On January 27, 1959, Dona was baptized into the Church of the Firstborn in Oklahoma City at Colby's Pond. She remained a faithful member of the church until her passing.

Dona attended business school before going to work for Luke Rodgers Home Builders. She would work her entire career for Mr. Rodgers helping in every facit of the business from office management to home design.

Though Dona never had children of her own, she was a second mother to all of her nieces and nephews. She loved to play softball with the youngkids and taught many of her nieces and nephews to hit and catch. Dona was very active in their lives, and always made time to spend with them and allow their parents to have a "date-night."

Dona always had a special care in her heart for the brethren, and sat with many who were sick and in need of care. Her loving heart didn't stop with her church family, she and Joy would also later in life care for her dear friend Mr. Rodgers and his wife for some time before their passings.

Dona's loving relationship with her siblings will forever be remembered by many. The three sisters could often be spotted wearing matching clothing, they had such a special bond. They loved to travel and would load up at the drop of a hat for a weekend trip to Tulare, CA. Dona was able to travel to each of the 50 states and never turned down an invite to travel. She was an avid Sooner fan, and loved a good Coke. Her positive outlook and loving spirit will be missed by all.

Dona was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley Roberts and husband Dary; and twin sister Wana Jo (Joy) Britton and husband Sonny.

She is survived by her brother, Carl "Rusty" Greenfield and wife Judy; nieces and nephews, Kim, Chris, Justin, Robin, Cache, Randy, Jason, Tahna, Cody, and Casey along with their families, and a host of extended family and friends.
