Donald Frank Fox, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the age 88. He was born April 28, 1926 in Hollis, Oklahoma to his parents, Fred and Opal (Wilson) Fox. While attending Hollis High School, Don excelled in athletics having lettered in football and basketball. He served as the team captain on both teams and played on the 1942 undefeated football team. He was later inducted into the Hollis Athletic Hall of Fame and in 2014 was honored with the naming of the Don Fox Field House in Hollis, Oklahoma. On May 19, 1944, he married his sweetheart, Melba Gene Crowley and together they shared 70 years of marriage and raising their 5 sons. Don would often lovingly refer to his wife as his "little sack of sugar". A successful business man, Don founded Big Giant Retail and Wholesale Grocery and co-founded Fox Building Supply, both of which he successfully operated for many years in addition to farming and ranching. Don was always known for doing the right thing, being honest, reliable and dependable in all dealings whether it involved family, friends, or business. He was optimistic, persistent, charitable, helpful and a true man of faith. He exemplified Christian characteristics and a daily study and relationship with Christ in every aspect of his life. A longtime member of Southwest Baptist Church, Don loved and served the Lord, his family and the community with all of his heart. He will be deeply missed.

Numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
