Mr. Donald Richard Spencer age 88 passed away peacefully on Sunday January 9, 2022 in the N.E. GA Medical Center in Brazelton, GA . He was born on 1933 in Tuttle, OK., the son of the late Lynn and Winnie Spencer of Oklahoma City, OK., He grew up in a farming community and really loved animals and tractors He was one of Gods special kids and gave love, hugs and joy to everyone he met. He will be missed by family and residents and staff at the Union County Nursing Home in Blairsville, GA. He was truly one of a kind.

He is survived by sisters, Elsie Ruth Melendez of Piedmont, OK., and Joy Noelle of Blairsville, GA., His extended family includes nephew, Don Malcom and wife Carol of Bethlehem, GA., niece, Debbie Kubida and husband Bill of Dallas, GA., nieces, Bobbie Castleberry of Oklahoma City and Robbie Melendez of Piedmont, OK., also niece Sue Newman of Seminole, OK., nephew, Joe Douglas Ruppert and wife Peggy and niece Janice Ruppert all of Oklahoma City. He had other great nieces and nephews in Winder and Lavonia GA. and Birmingham, AL.

His interment will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Oklahoma, City in the family plot where he will rest beside his mama and daddy in a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Union County Nursing Home Activities Department in Donald's memory.
