Dorma Charlene Munda

November 12, 1935 ~ August 10, 2025

Dorma Charlene Munda went to her heavenly father on August 10th, 2025. The daughter of Charles and Viola Weber, she was born November 12th, 1935 in her home near Medicine Park, Oklahoma. She grew up attending schools in Comanche county and graduated from Elgin High School in 1953. Dorma married her sweetheart on February 25th,1955 at the Ft. Sill Chapel near Lawton, Oklahoma. Together, they shared over 49 years of marriage. This union of marriage was blessed with 5 children. Dorma was a loving wife, devoted mother, and dedicated homemaker. Dorma was very passionate about cooking, sewing and horticulture, but nothing was as important as being with her family, whom she loved with all her heart. Dorma was known for her holiday celebrations, her collectors' heart and will be fondly remembered for her kindness, loyalty, and love. She loved and cared deeply for her family and she will be held close to our hearts each day.

Dorma was preceded in death by her:

parents: Charles and Viola Weber;

husband, Benjamin Lafayette Munda, II;

siblings, Earnest and Richard Weber;

children: Benjamin Lafayette Munda, III and Beth Ann Cox.

Dorma leaves behind her loving family:

daughter, Rebecca Diane Hagedorn and her husband, Randy of West Virginia;

son, Robert Munda and friend, Rhenda Lyons of Edmond, Oklahoma;

daughter, Betty Jo Brown and her husband, Darren Brown of Moore, Oklahoma;

sibling, Jackie Weber of Lawton, Oklahoma;

11 grandchildren;

20 great grandchildren;

As well as many other extended family and friends.

Viewing will be held 2:00 PM til 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 17th, 2025 at the north Vondel L. Smith & Son Funeral Home, 13125 North MacArthur Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK, 73142. A funeral service to celebrate and honor Dorma's life will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 18th, 2025 at the North Colonial Chapel of Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd, OKC, OK 73142. The burial service will follow at at 1:00 PM at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma. Memorial donations are suggested to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Friends may leave condolences for the family at https://www.vondelsmithmortuary.com/
