Dr. Charles Anthony Jaronek, lovingly known as "Buddy", went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 2, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was 70 years old. He was born May 3, 1944 in San Angelo, Texas to his parents, Charles Anthony Jaronek, Sr. and Catherine (Zayonc) Jaronek. Charles spent most of his years growing up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he graduated from Mt. St. Mary High School. He received a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology in 1967 from Oklahoma State University. Upon graduation from OSU, he entered the United States Air Force, where he spent the next four years traveling around the United States and also had a 15-month tour in Taiwan. After the Air Force, Charles pursued a Masters in Elementary Education. After teaching in a small rural school, he decided to head back to OSU to pursue his doctorate. He was very proud of his accomplishments especially his book "The Giving Trees". On June 18, 1983, he married the love of his life Maria Del "Carmen" (Serrano) Jaronek and together they shared 32 years of marriage, providing a loving home to their two children. He was a loving husband, devoted father, loving grandfather, and loyal friend who will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his: Parents. He leaves cherished memories with his loving: Wife of 32 years, Carmen Jaronek; Daughter, Pamela Jaronek Everett and her husband, John; Son: Michael Jaronek; Brother, Tony Jaronek (Co.); Sister, Kitty Ann Cox (Co.); One Grandchild, Aiden Jaronek; Many other Family and Friends.
