Dwight Lloyd Eidson was born to Jim and Bea "Fannie" Eidson on September 22, 1953, in Oklahoma City. He passed away in the state of Washington on July 25, 2024, at the age of 70 years old.

Dwight graduated from Putnam City High School in 1972 and attended 2 semesters at OBU. He was Self -Employed for many years doing flooring installation and carpentry. Over the past 19 and 1/2 years he worked for Herman/Stewart Construction where he worked as a traveling Construction Superintendent, building over 66 retail stores across the country.

He was a Master Carpenter in which his family and friends proudly display the items he crafted for them in their homes, but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and going to their many activities and events. They were the apple of his eye.

Dwight accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior and was baptized as a young person. Dwight was a member of Southwood Baptist Church for many years until they relocated. He and his wife are currently members of Southern Hills Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Bea Eidson, son-in-law, Billy Barnett,  his brother-in-law David Critchfield, his nephew Matthew Critchfield, and his niece Andrea Burns.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Gwenna Eidson, their children Jeremy Eidson and wife Lynsey, their daughter Kimberly Lamb and husband Brett. Grandchildren, Hallie and husband Grant, Parker, Jayce, Mackenzie, Jaylie, Jaxon, Skylah, Troy, Lilly, and Grayson. Sister Jimmye Critchfield, brother Chris Eidson and wife Michelle, and loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Herman/Stewart Construction and Columbia Sportswear for the many friendships over the years, and especially their support and kindness since Dwight's passing. He loved working with you all.
