Earl "Sonny" Harold Gravitt, 81, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away February 17, 2009. He was born February 27, 1927 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Alfred and Martha Gravitt. Sonny was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church. He was a veteran of WWII and retired from Tinker Air Force Base. Sonny loved sports and enjoyed woodworking. He was a loving daddy and Papa who would sacrifice his life to take care of his family as well as an extremely tender hearted man who was very family oriented. His loving wife Vada was the light of his life and he loved his entire family dearly.

He was preceded in death by:

• His parents, Alfred and Martha Gravitt;

• 3 brothers;

• Son-in-law, Larry Hayes.

Survivors include:

• His wife of 59 ½ years, Vada;

• Daughters, Priscilla and Phil Matheson, Pamela and Rus Robison, Nancy and Mitch Askins;

• 2 sisters, Bertha Edwards and Ann Wills;

• Grandchildren, Jason and Debbie Hayes, Jeremy Hayes, Whitney Robison, Russell Robison, Jon and Shelley Askins, Dana Askins;

• Great grandchildren, Emma Hayes, Cooper Hayes and Landry Hayes;

• As well as numerous family and friends.
