Earlene "Tiny" Beaty, a lifelong resident of Oklahoma City, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 15, 2009 at the age of 83. She was born July 6, 1925 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to her parents, Earl and Bernice (Smith) Robbins. Earlene was the middle child of three girls all growing up in the Capitol Hill area. After graduating from Capitol Hill High School, Class of 1942, Earlene married Richard "Dick" Beaty on March 8, 1946 at Lambuth United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. For a short time, Tiny was employed at Southwest Bell Telephone Company, but she followed her heart's desire and fulfilled her passion to be a loving, wife and mother by making a safe, comfortable home for her family. She was a devoted mother being active in PTA, her church choir, always being there to comfort and support. She and Dick loved visiting their grandchildren and their families in Utah, trips to New Zealand, adventures with numerous friends and Sunday school class parties. They had a loving marriage and life together that lasted 58 years. "Tiny girl" was the name her father gave her because she was small in stature, but held a warm and captivating personality and spirit. Tiny "B" was attached to her name later in life as she never ever slowed down; she constantly was "buzzing!" Tiny positively influenced everyone she encountered. Her faith never wavered after her diagnosis with cancer and she taught us all how to be brave in the face of any obstacles. She truly was blessed with God's mercy and the prayers of so many family, friends and people in her life.
