Eddie "Sue" Higgins, 71 of Oklahoma City, passed away October 11, 2009 after a 2 year battle with cancer. She was born November 10, 1937 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Edward and Elma (Conrad) Strohfield. Sue retired from the FAA as an Administrative Officer. She devoted her life to taking care of her family and provided a loving home. By her side was her devoted husband, Dale Higgins, children and grandchildren. Sue will be greatly missed by countless loved ones and friends. Sue enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, and traveling to Las Vegas, but more importantly, she loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She had a unique way of making everyone in her life feel special and had a beautiful smile. After her son's tragic motorcycle accident she dedicated her time to caring for him for 3 years. Sue was a true inspiration to everyone around her and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
