Ellen C. Gregory, 91, went peacefully in her home to be with her Heavenly Father on March 29, 2026. The daughter of A.O. and Mildred Grossmann, she was born October 24, 1934 in Belleville, Illinois. She grew up attending school and graduating from Cambridge High School in Cambridge, Illinois. While in high school, Ellen met her sweetheart, Emery Gregory, Jr. They married on December 28,1952 and shared more than 73 years together. This union of marriage was blessed with 3 children. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother and dedicated homemaker, Ellen also worked as an office manager for Gregory Livestock for many years before she retired. During her retirement, she worked part-time in retail at Coldwater Creek where she established close and lasting friendships. Ellen was an avid sports fan, especially watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was passionate about gardening and shopping, but nothing was as important as being with her family, whom she loved with all of her heart. Ellen was known for her work ethic, love of garden flowers and her eye for fashion. Ellen will be remembered as an irreplaceable presence whose love was evident to everyone she met. She loved and cared deeply for her family, and she will be held close to our hearts each day.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Grossmann, grandson, Brenton Gregory and son-in-law, Robert L. Reese.

She is survived by her loving husband, Emery Gregory, Jr. of Edmond, OK; daughter, Michele Diesselhorst-Reese of Edmond, OK; son, Mitchell Gregory and his wife, Charli Gregory of Washington, IL and son, E. Todd Gregory and his wife, Patty Gregory of Floyd, Knobes, IN; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and many other extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate and honor her life will be held 2:00 pm on April 16th, 2026 at Crossing Community Church in the Chapel, 14600 N. Portland Ave., OKC, OK 73134, with burial following at Resurrection Cemetery.
