Emily Diane Churchill Marshall went to be with her Heavenly Father on April 8, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Emily was born on April 15, 1975 and was adopted into the loving house of Janice and Leroy Churchill on May 23rd of that year.

Emily was a beautiful baby who grew into a lovely woman. She was fun-loving, generous and fiercely supported all of the people she loved.

She graduated from Norman High School and Oklahoma State University with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught at Central Elementary for twenty five years, where she was Teacher of the Year more than once. Students and parents loved her, and many students have continued to stay in touch with her long after they graduated. Her God given gift of teaching affected her students for decades.

In 1997 Emily married Danny Marshall, and they had three children; Noah, Samantha, and Bryce. The family was exceptionally close, sharing a love of soccer and cheer leading.

Emily was extremely close to her parents, and anyone who knew her knew she was totally loyal to her friends and family, and fiercely tough in her 17 year battle with cancer.

A loyal, loving spouse, parent and daughter, she will be missed by so many.

Sister, Courtney Karr and husband Bryce;

Step-Brother, Ryan Cantrell and wife Malinda;

Step-Daughter, Katherine and husband Matt Holmquist;

As well as numerous loving extended family members and countless friends.
