Eric Del Hardesty was born September 27, 1963 in Oklahoma City the son of Julia Maxine Cooper and Delmer Don Hardesty. Eric completed his life on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 at his home in Oklahoma City.
Eric was raised in Oklahoma City graduating from Paden High School in 1981. He then earned a Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma College of Science and Arts in Chickasha in 1985.
Eric worked for Citgo Petroleum for 39 years where he was an operations manager.
Eric married Clara Ines Camacho in 1986. They have made their home in Oklahoma City where they raised their children, Alexandra and Evan.
Eric absolutely loved all things outdoors. Especially biking, golfing, fishing and being out on the water.
Eric loved and cherished spending time with his family the most.
Eric was preceded in death by his step-father, Charlie Blaine; and his nephew, Ransom Hardesty.
Eric is survived by his wife, Clara; his daughter, Alexandra Belflower her husband, Adam, and his granddaughter, Elliott; his son, Evan Hardesty; his mother, Julia Cooper Blaine; his father and step-mother, Delmer and LaDonna Hardesty; his brother, Clint Hardesty, his wife, Aimee and their sons; his sister, DeLana Aylor, her husband Gary and their sons.
A prayer vigil will be at 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 30th in the Vondel Smith Mortuary North Chapel, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 31st, at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 2400 W. Hefner Rd.

The family would like to thank everyone for their acts of kindness during Eric's illness. We would like to especially acknowledge family and friends who spent countless hours at medical visits and at home with Eric.
