IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ernestine "Tina"
Rogers
April 26, 1942 – March 8, 2015
Ernestine "Tina" Rogers passed away Sunday morning at the age of 72. Our beautiful, creative, loving mother, sister, and aunt is at peace. We celebrate her life as we sit around the table sharing memories, many of them humorous. If she could pull up a chair with us, she would tell the best stories, with her wonderful laughter. She lived life fiercely and courageously to the end, leaving lesser beings in her wake. In her honor, we will strive to do no less. Born in Oklahoma City, Tina was educated there and in New York, having also lived in California. An expert hair stylist and unparalleled bingo master, Tina spent her retirement years with her daughter Cheryl and her family. "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened" – Dr. Seuss… Preceded in death by: • her father, Ernest Salvia, • her mother, Pearl Price, Tina is survived by: • her children, Michael Rogers of San Antonio, TX • and Cheryl Grob, • son-in-law Tim Grob; • grandsons Michael Pierce and Jared Grob of Oklahoma City; • sisters Yvonne Courreges of El Paso, TX and Marie Price and Jeannie Falconer of Oklahoma City; • nieces and nephews Randy Marshall and Danielle Courreges of El Paso, TX, Rick Forman of Woodward, Crystal Forman of Oklahoma City, David Falconer of Folsom, CA, David Salvia of Moore, and Toni Salvia-Toth of Yukon.
