IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Etolia Ruth
Rhodes
June 11, 1935 – January 4, 2016
Etolia Ruth Lundy Rhodes passed from this life on January 4, 2016.
She was born in Oklahoma City to Arley Lundy and Lela Fay (Schwartz) Lundy.
She married Benjamin Jean Rhodes in 1975 and was married 29 years until he passed away in 2004.
She is retired from Mobil Oil Company.
She enjoyed a good OU football game, watching Thunder basketball, Dancing with the Stars and an occasional movie. She also enjoyed lunches with her brothers and Sunday dinners with family. Sunday dinners usually consisted of her brothers, J.W. and J.C. picking on her constantly and while she pretended to get upset with them, they all would end up laughing. Etolia had an infectious and hearty laugh. She was a dear, sweet daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will truly be missed.
She is survived by her brother, J.C. Lundy and Vickie Lee of Yukon; two step-sons Michael and Carol Rhodes of Oklahoma City, Mark Rhodes and Rene' Wilson of Oklahoma City; Grandchildren, Melissa (Rhodes) and Dave Workinger and son Bradley of Naples, Florida, Jennifer (Rhodes) and Cameron Enteshary of Oklahoma City, and Rob and Marci Rhodes of Oklahoma City; Nieces: Kathleen Knight and Mike Buckland of Houston, Texas and Ashley (Lundy) and Kody Page and children Lela, Ava and Jace; Nephew: J.C. Lundy Jr. of Los Angeles, California.
Etolia is preceded in death by her parents Arley and Lela Lundy, her husband Benjamin Jean Rhodes and her brother J.W. Lundy.
