Evelyn Ruth Foulks Bell, passed from this life to her heavenly home on August 16, 2021. Evelyn was born at Wellston, OK on September 11, 1927. Evelyn's family moved to California when she was 10 years old. She attended school there through the 11th grade. Her family moved back to Oklahoma where she graduated from Wellston High School. She passed her typing test for civil service and moved to Oklahoma City where she worked at Tinker Field. She and her friend Tootsie shared an apartment. That's where she met her future husband, George Bell, who lived in the same apartment building. George asked Evelyn to marry him and they were married on Jan. 11, 1947 at the First Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. Evelyn was a devout Christian and was active in church teaching 3 year olds and enjoyed vbs. Evelyn loved being a mother and grandmother. She was always baking cookies for them. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Bell, Sr.; parents, Roy and Ella Foulks; son, Silas R. Bell; daughter, Debbie Ann Bell; and great- grandson, Nathan Shinn. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Kimbley; daughter-in-law, Claudia Bell; sons, George Bell Jr. and wife Terri, and David Bell and wife Melissa; sister, Patsy Talbert; niece, Pam; brother, Roger Foulks and wife Vicki; grandchildren, Tim Kimbley, Christy Stover, Stephanie Delzer, Jeff Bell, Jonathan Bell, Brittany Shinn, Destiny Stallcup, Athena Young, Jude Bell, and Russell Bertram; and numerous great grandchildren.
