Florence Staten October 20, 1922 ~ February 14, 2015 Florence Ona (Scott) Staten went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the age of 92. She was born October 20, 1922 in Wanette, Oklahoma to her parents, Eldery and Jessie (Warren) Scott. A talented and skilled beautician, Florence owned a beauty salon for many years. She always enjoyed going to the family farm with her husband, J.T. and would love to cook the meals, hunt for mushrooms, and run to the Dollar Store while he worked on the farm. Family was the most important thing to Florence. She loved blessing them and looked forward to cooking Thanksgiving dinner for them every year. She was a devoted wife, mother and sister-in-law, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Florence was preceded in death by her: Parents; Husband, J.T. Staten; Son, Roby Staten; 6 Brothers: Glen, Carl, Marvin, J.H. Wilford and J.L. Scott; Sister, Eutha Aileen Wilson. She is survived by her loving: Sister, Syble Fitzgerald and her husband, Terry; Sisters-in-law, Leonda Scott, Joyce Scott and Karene Scott; Several Nieces and Nephews.
