Frank Xavier Garcia passed away in Oklahoma City, OK on March 15, 2021. He was born on September 23, 1942 in Los Angeles, California to Frank Vega Garcia and Ana Hernandez de Garcia. Frank was raised in Los Angeles. He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1961. Later he opened G&G Body and Paint in Pico Rivera, California. He owned and operated his own business for 20 years.
Frank moved to Oklahoma City in 1980 where he began his career with Action Safety. In 1983 Frank met his future bride, Wanda Atkinson, while he was doing his laundry at the laundry mat. On April 22, 1984, the two were married. They shared 33 years of marriage together until Wanda's passing in 2017.
In his spare time, he enjoyed listening to music, watching golf, cooking and spending time with his family. Frank was known for his favorite saying "YOU BETCHA", his famous bean burritos, and his generosity and positivity.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife Wanda Garcia, his parents Frank Vega Garcia and Ana Hernandez de Garcia.
He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Smith and her husband Randy. His son, Roger Shrum,
Grandchildren- Dustin Smith, Jerrod Smith, Samantha Cline and her husband Kyle, Courtney Moore and her husband Marshall, Ashlee Palmer and her husband Steven, Blake Shrum and girlfriend EmiLee, Carson Thompson and his wife Allie, Great grandchildren- Ariel Smith, Nate Smith, Hollie Kenny, Audrey Smith, Corbin Smith, Teller Smith, Kannon Cline, Bentley Knapp, Logan Cline, Nash Palmer and Ava Palmer, brother Charles Garcia and wife Ana, brother William Garcia and wife Francine, sister Alice Paco and husband George, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
