Visitation will be at the funeral home, on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 4-8 pm. A service will be held at Vondel Smith Mortuary, on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Freddie Lee Cofer was born October 31, 1930 in Oklahoma City, OK and passed away May 22, 2015 after a brief illness. He lived his entire 84 years in Oklahoma City and graduated from Central High School in 1950. He married Barbara Lorraine Keller on February 13, 1955. They made their home in OKC and opened Spic & Span Cleaners. Fred is preceded by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Lorraine Cofer. Fred is survived by his daughter, Karen Cofer Henderson, her husband Craig Henderson, granddaughter, Karalyn and grandson, Caden, all of OKC. His love for farming, playing and officiating sports in his younger years, and being a landlord were only surpassed by his love for his grandkids. He loved watching Karalyn play Volleyball and Caden play football. He loved animals and always cheered for the underdog. Fred was a character and loved to have fun. Dad, may you rest in peace.
