Freddy Gene Jones, 83, was born July 22, 1931, at Granite, Oklahoma and died at his home in Oklahoma City on April 22, 2015, following a short illness. He was encouraged in life by his faith; the Christian love of his church, the Mayfair Church of Christ; and his loving family: wife Charlotte, children Sharon Kay and Sheryl Jean, granddaughters Erin and Kelly, great-granddaughter Zion Charlotte, and many other dear relatives and friends. He was retired from the Oklahoma City Fire Department and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He enjoyed playing music, traveling the United States, and spending time with his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Mayfair Church of Christ Food Pantry.
