Vondel Smith Mortuary at South Lakes (4000 SW 119th St) Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Heritage Burial Park (4000 SW 119th St) Gail Diane Hamill, 70, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 4, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born on November 2, 1950 to Gerald and Francis Smith in Erie, Pennsylvania. She married Richard Joseph Hamill and together they raised a beautiful family. Gail spent many years working with special needs schoolchildren and senior citizens. She also loved to travel with her husband. One of her favorite places to visit was Monument Valley, Utah and enjoy those scenic views. However, her family was what made her the happiest in life. Gail will be remembered for her kind heart and ready smile. She will be deeply missed. Gail was preceded in death by her: Parents; She leaves cherished memories with her loving: Husband, Richard J. Hamill; Daughter, Emily Brown; Sons, Richard Hamill, Jr; Brent Hamill, and Patrick Hamill; Grandchildren, Skylar and Nolan Brown; Sister, Becky Barto; As well as many extended family and loving friends.
