Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary at South Lakes 4000 SW 119th Street Oklahoma City, Oklahoma George King was born in Butzbach, Germany on September 19, 1946. He died December 24, 2019 at the Norman, Oklahoma Veteran's Center. George was a faithful member of Southern Ridge Church of Christ, a US Army Vietnam Veteran and was retired from PetSmart. George enjoyed many things including traveling, and OU Football. He especially loved attending all of his grandchildren's many events. George was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all. George was preceded in death by: -His parents Lena and Earl King -And a brother Rudy King Survivors include: -His wife of 51 years, Pat -Daughters Kimmye Waganer and husband Jason and Jamie Reed and husband Josh -Sister-in-laws Janette King and Sara Rhoads and husband Gary -Brothers Ricky King and wife Debbie and Marvin King and wife Tammy -Grandchildren Sammy and Jack Waganer, and Shaylee and Avery Reed -Many nieces and nephews, his church family and many friends
