Obituary

Visitation will be Sunday 12-8 PM and Monday 4-8 PM with family present 6-8 PM. Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday in the South Colonial Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Georgia Ann Pierce was born on August 6, 1923, and passed away on July 2, 2020. She was born in Hickory, OK and was raised near Stratford, OK. She later moved to San Francisco, CA where she worked as a Winnie the Welder during World War II and then back to Oklahoma City where she worked as a Rosie the Riveter at Tinker AFB. She had an amazing life where she worked at the Haggar plant and cared for infants at Kindercare Learning Center in Mustang, OK. She served as a volunteer at Southwest Medical Center over 10,000 hours earning the Lifetime Member Award for over 20 years of service. She was active at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. She is preceded in death by all eleven of her siblings; her husband of 62 years, Alvin Pierce, and her infant daughter, Jackie. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Pierce of Auburn, WA; Alana Stephens of Oklahoma City; two grandchildren, Max Stephens of Oklahoma City; and Jacki Gray and her husband, Bill, of Tuttle, OK along with five great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
