Gerald Lee Ivie, 76, of OKC, passed away Feb. 16, 2010. He was born Aug. 31, 1933 in Amber, OK to Oscar and Olivene (Cooper) Ivie. Gerald proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a Firefighter for the OCFD and retired as Fire Marshall. Gerald was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed having coffee with his buddies at Perry's Restaurant. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Ivie; daughters, Lori and Christy Ivie; brothers, Don, Dewayne and Randy Ivie; sister, Janice Jeffries; a host of nieces and nephews; and countless friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
