Lake, 84, made the transition from the body to be present with the Lord on March 5, 2015. She was born July 28, 1930 in Okemah, OK to Freeman Eary & Myrtle Isabelle (Brown) Eary. She attended Okemah High School & later worked in the banking industry until her retirement. She married Doyce Johnson in 1950 & after his death, married Wash Thomas in 1988. He preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents, & two brothers. Lake moved from Tulsa to OKC to be near her family. Geraldine had no children of her own but her hobby was spoiling all her nieces & nephews. She leaves behind precious memories with her 5 sisters; 3 brothers; numerous nieces, nephews & friends. Viewing will be from 12-8 PM Sun & 4-8 PM Mon with the family receiving friends from 2:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday. Services to celebrate her life will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Southern Hills Baptist Church, 8601 S. Penn, Okla. City with burial at Floral Haven, Tulsa, OK.
