Glenda Ann
Orrell
Apr 25, 1947 — Sep 19, 2026
Edmond
Glenda Ann Orrell, transitioned to her eternal home to be with her Heavenly Father on September 19, 2026.
Glenda was born on April 25, 1947 to Glenn and Bonita Peck. She grew up in Tuttle, Oklahoma along with her sister Teresa.
She was an amazing, God-fearing, strong-willed, loving wife, daughter, mother, GiGi, sister and friend. She was a devoted wife of the late Gary Orrell, and previously married her high school homecoming king, Ronnie Walker, with whom she had two daughters .
In her youth, Glenda was crowned Homecoming queen, Miss Tuttle, and performed as a revered majorette baton twirler. Initially, she worked as a hair stylist in Tuttle before earning her degree in finance. Later in life, she and Gary built a cattle ranch in Ft. Cobb. They enjoyed hitting the dance floor on weekends and were known for their graceful moves. She enjoyed painting, gardening, crocheting, caring for animals, and helping others. She made sure those seeds of Jesus’ love were planted in each grandchild and others.
Glenda’s fun-loving personality could brighten any room. The family will always treasure the last few years of borrowed time they had left with her. Her last trip, she had wanted to see the mountains for so many years; she worshipped the Lord, at the Red Rocks in Colorado. She recently crocheted many blankets for her loved ones and prayed over each one.
Words cannot describe how much she will be missed. Knowing she is with Jesus gives us such peace and she is no longer in pain. Glenda loved Jesus and her family fiercely. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the end, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved by many.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Bonita Peck, husband Gary Orrell.
She is survived by her sister, Teresa Peck; Daughters, Christy Burton, Cheri Brentlinger with husband Robert Brentlinger; her stepson, Gary Lynn Orrell and his wife, Shellie Orrell; Six grandchildren: Brayden Burton, Rylee with Javier Aguilar, Charlee Baker and Ryan Green, Ambrin and Ansley; Great grandsons; Baker and Beckham Burton.
