Services to celebrate the life of Goldie Greer will be 2 PM Saturday, August 25 at South Lakes Chapel (4000 SW 119th Street, OKC, OK 73173).

Goldie passed away on Aug 17, 2018 in Edmond, OK. The daughter of John William and Lillie Ora (Wall) Koehler, Goldie was born February 1, 1923 in Norman, OK. Though Goldie worked hard at multiple occupations throughout her life time, her very greatest accomplishment was as a mother and homemaker raising her five children. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Henry, Warren, John and Norman Koehler; one toddler sister, Katheryn Carol Koehler; and daughter, Sharon Fountain and son-in-law William Moeller. She leaves behind her daughters Carolyn Moeller and Shirley Eastwood and husband James; sons, Stephen Greer and wife Kathy and Warren Greer and wife Donna; and sister, Billie Hammons; 8 grandchildren: Robert Howard and wife Heather, Jaime Howard, Charity Eastwood & Amanda Eastwood, Joshua Greer and wife Stephanie, Sarah Thompson and husband Ryan, Jonah Greer, Aaron Greer; 2 great-grandchild: Parrish Hughes & River Howard; son-in-law, David Fountain; and many other extended family & friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Legend Assisted Living and Centennial Hospice for the excellent love and care they showed to Goldie; and to Brother Leon Wilson along with Mrs. Wilson and Sister Charlene Curtis of Southpark Baptist Church for preaching the Word and leading music so Goldie could worship.
