Harley, 100, entered Heaven's Gate on March 1, 2022. Harley was born in Norman, OK on May 2, 1921 to William Ira & Bertha Angeline (Barnard) King. Harley graduated from the University of Oklahoma where he received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Education. Harley served in many schools in the Oklahoma City Public School System retiring as principal of Davis Elementary School. Harley was a loving & committed Christian & thoroughly enjoyed serving in the music ministries of numerous churches and used his talent playing the organ for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Ivette & son Gary; son-in-law, Wayland; 7 brothers & 2 sisters. Survivors include his two daughters, Barbara Ann Sweeney & Marilyn Faye Greear & her husband Ronnie; daughter-in-law, Faye King; grandson Chris Edwards & wife Sara; 3 step grandsons, Randy Sweeney, Scott Sweeney & Steve Sweeney & wife Brenda; one granddaughter, Ronna Stroup & husband Chris: two great granddaughters; 3 step great granddaughters; 2 step great grandsons.
