Dr. Harold A Masters passed away on August 30 after an 8 month battle with cancer. He was born on July 31, 1928 in Cardin, Oklahoma to his father Cara & mother Vasca Masters. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree on June 3, 1956 from the University of Oklahoma. He was in family practice for 36 years & had offices throughout his career on the Southside of OKC & on the Northside where he retired from Springdale Medical Center. He then became Medical Director of Deaconess Hospital for four years & had a staff of 500+ physicians. He also was medical director of "Chance to Change" & "Moore Youth and Family Guidance Center" & day care programs for SPMI patients in Norman, Purcell, Okemah & McAlester. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Dave; & brother, Gerald. Harold is survived by his son Dr. Mark Masters & wife Michelle & grandsons Mason, Mitchell & Miles; son Larry and wife Kimberly; son Scott & granddaughter, Jessica; youngest brother, Richard & his wife Dr. Barbara Masters; & his niece, Karen Masters.
