IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Harold Wayne
Seeley
May 14, 1936 – November 16, 2025
Harold Wayne Seeley, 89, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on May 14, 1936, in Okemah, Oklahoma, to the late Albert Perry and Rachel Marie (Franks) Seeley. Harold was raised in Wetumka, Oklahoma, and graduated from Wetumka High School in 1954.
In 1979, Harold married the love of his life, Debbie J. Ogle, and together they shared many joyful years.
Harold devoted 50 years to the Oil & Gas industry—a career he truly loved. He began as a roughneck for Cactus Drilling Company in West Texas in 1955. Throughout his career, he worked for numerous drilling companies, serving as a driller, foreman, superintendent, and vice president. He later continued his work as a superintendent of drilling for several Oil & Gas companies and ultimately spent his final 20 years as an independent consultant. His strong work ethic and dedication were evident in every role he held.
Harold was also a devoted Oklahoma sports fan. He loved cheering on the Oklahoma Sooners—football, softball, and girls' basketball—and rarely missed a chance to discuss the latest game or standout player. He also enjoyed following the OKC Thunder, celebrating every high and riding out every low right alongside the team. Supporting his Oklahoma teams brought him great joy and sparked many spirited conversations with family and friends.
Outside of work and sports, Harold enjoyed golfing with good friends, gardening, keeping a beautiful yard, and spending time at his lake house on Eufaula Lake, where he loved to fish and relax.
Harold held a deep appreciation for his parents and the hard work they put into raising seven children on their family farm. He carried that admiration throughout his life. Above all, Harold loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His presence, guidance, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Hill; his brother, Darrell Seeley; and two granddaughters, Angelina Smith and Patricia Williams.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; two sons, Wayne Seeley and wife Terri, and Tommy Seeley and wife Anne; one daughter, Debbie Campbell and husband Gene; grandsons Patrick Seeley and wife Diana, and Tyler Seeley and wife Nazreen; granddaughters Jennifer Jacks and husband Jon, and Cassie Madden and husband Curtis; two brothers, Doyle Seeley and wife Lou, and Loel Seeley; two sisters, Melva Ledbetter and Barbara Banta; fourteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
