Harvey Lee Towler Jr., age 47, died on 9/24/2011 following an unexpected brief illness. He was born 7/15/1964 in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Grant HS in 1982. He worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City for 23 years. For the past 6 years he was Deposit Coordinator for the Oklahoma College Assistance Program.
He is survived by his mother Rosemary Towler of OKC, sister Jessica Prochazkova of OKC, 2 nephews Brandon O'Hanlan of OKC and Jordan Hanlan of OKC and best friend Bryan D. Struck MD of OKC, and a host of relatives and friends.
Harvey Lee is remembered for his incredible laugh, his love for life and his ability to engage people. His favorite things were new cars, music, traveling first class and spending time with friends and family. He had an artistic flare that showed up in his immaculate lawn, his impeccable dress and his tasteful home. He enjoyed walks at the OKC Zoo as well as visiting zoos and aquariums across the country. Those who knew Harvey Lee well were made better by his friendship and love. You will be missed.
