Obituary

Hector Heriberto Carrillo, 54, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, affectionately known as "Eddie", passed away on Monday, June 23rd. Born on January 1st, 1971, in Praxedis G. Guerrero, Eddie was a devoted husband to Lourdes Carrillo and a loving father to Santiago, Cynthia, and Jessica.

Eddie was hard-working and dedicated to his family. He spent 30 years of his life to his profession as a welder, where he was widely respected for his reliability, strong work ethic and dedication. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his loved ones and the things he enjoyed most.

Though he may not have liked being the center of attention, Eddie's years of unwavering love and support as a father deserve to be honored. He was a man of integrity, kindness, generosity, and he left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Eddie's hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, often spending his weekends caring for them. His love for fishing was something he shared with his children and grandchildren, creating memories that will live on in their hearts forever. Eddie also had a beloved bulldog named Rocky, who was his loyal furry companion for 12 years.

He is survived by his wife, Lourdes Carrillo; three children: Santiago Carrillo (Marcela), Cynthia Alvarez (Andres), Jessica Carrillo; grandchildren: Santiago Jr., Marely, Katalina, Ezekiel, Lucyanna, Lucas, and Roquelio. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Elena Estrada; his stepfather, Sergio Estrada; and his siblings: Maria Elena, Lisa, Sergio Jr. and Abel, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

A funeral service will be held from 3 PM ~ 5 PM on Saturday, June 28th at Vondel L. Smith & Son.

We find comfort in knowing that Eddie's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.

Héctor Heriberto Carrillo, de 54 años, residente de Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, conocido cariñosamente como "Eddie", falleció el lunes 23 de junio. Nació el 1 de enero de 1971 en Praxedis G. Guerrero. Eddie fue un esposo devoto de Lourdes Carrillo y un padre amoroso de Santiago, Cynthia y Jessica.

Eddie fue un hombre trabajador y comprometido con su familia. Dedicó 30 años de su vida a su profesión como soldador, donde fue ampliamente respetado por su confiabilidad, ética laboral y dedicación. A pesar de sus múltiples responsabilidades, siempre encontraba tiempo para sus seres queridos y para disfrutar de sus pasatiempos.

Aunque no le gustaba ser el centro de atención, los años de amor y apoyo incondicional que brindó como padre merecen ser honrados. Fue un hombre íntegro, amable y generoso, y dejó una huella duradera en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.

También le sobreviven su madre, María Elena Estrada; su padrastro, Sergio Estrada; y sus hermanos: María Elena, Lisa, Sergio Jr. y Abel, así como muchas sobrinas, sobrinos, amigos y familiares extendidos que lo extrañarán profundamente.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio funeral de 3:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m., el sábado 28 de junio, en Vondel L. Smith & Son.
