Viewing will be at the South Western funeral home on Sunday February 2, 2020 from 4-8 pm, and friends will gather for visitation from 2-4pm. Funeral Services will be at South Lindsay Baptist Church (3300 S. Lindsay Ave OKC, OK) on Monday February 3, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Helen went to be with our Lord and Savior on January 31, 2020. She was born in Mountain Grove, Virginia to her parents Hermit W. & Luna M. (Trimble) Ryder. Helen married the love of her life June A. Corbett on October 18, 1966. She worked for TG&Y as a retail salesperson for many years until her retirement. During her spare time she enjoyed helping others. She and June volunteered their time delivering meals to the less fortunate, which was a ministry in itself. On February 8, 2000, she lost her hearts companion June Arnett Corbett. Helen was a longtime member of South Lindsay Baptist Church, where she enjoyed the fellowship she shared with her church family. During her retirement she found a joy in gardening, and nurturing plants & trees from seedlings to mature growth.
