Helen Ruth McInnis went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the age of 94. She was born December 25, 1920 in Ringwood, Oklahoma to her parents, Henry Blaine and Lettie Belle (McMillan) Binkley. After graduating from High School she attended the University of Oklahoma and later, Helen married Dalton Blue McInnis, Sr. and together they raise two children Dalton Blue Jr. and Janice (Mcinnis) Smith. Helen spent many years in south Texas practicing as a realtor, teaching elementary art classes, and also as an office administrator for the IRS, using her organizational skills with tax documents. In 1995 Helen made her return to OKC to help raise her great granddaughter, Deanna. Helen was a woman of many talents. In addition to being a successful realtor and teaching art, Helen also became a licensed pilot, flying Cessna airplanes for many years, an achievement in which she was very proud of. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed.
