Viewing will be at 3 PM on Tuesday followed by Rosary Services at 6 PM at Vondel L. Smith Mortuary 6934 S. Western Ave. OKC 73139.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday at St. James the Greater Catholic Church 4201 S. McKinley Ave. OKC 73119 with interment following at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. James Church or Mount St. Mary High School.
Helen Louise Wolf, 85, passed away peacefully on Aug. 7, 2021. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Joseph A. & Mary Alice (Fried) Scholtes. She grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Mount Saint Mary High School in 1954. In 1955, she married her sweetheart, Andrew James Wolf. They enjoyed over 57 years of marriage and raised 5 children together. Her life was one of service to all she encountered. She was a very active member of St. James the Greater Catholic Church, OKC serving in the choir for 62 years, a member of the Altar Society, a visitor to the home bound, & volunteering for many activities. In 1976, she began a career as a Registered Nurse that lasted over 30 years, retiring from what is now Integris Southwest Medical Center.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Andy, her son, Gary David Wolf,
her siblings, Anne Wolf, Dolores Hawkins, Marjorie Typer & Julia Scholtes.
She is survived by 3 sons;
James of Oklahoma City;
Kevin & wife Lori of Atlanta, GA; & Brian of Oklahoma City;
1 daughter, Sheryl & husband Jim Parizek of Yukon, OK;
10 grandchildren; Brittany, Kirstie, Shelby, Kelsey, Erin & Daniel Wolf, Michael & Grace Parizek, Hanna & Mark Jeffreys, Rachel & Nick Parizek; & her 3 siblings, Robert Scholtes & his wife Jean & John Scholtes, both of California & Rosie Munhollen & husband Sam of OKC; many nieces, nephews & dear friends.
