Henry R. "Hank"Foos, 67, of Edmond, OK went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 2, 2010. He was born Feb. 4, 1942 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Henry Foos and Bertha Reisig Foos. A resident of Oklahoma City since 1954, Hank graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1960.
He began working at OPUBCO a short time later as a typesetter & printer in the production department working his way up to Operations Manager, he retired after 42 years of service. Hank enjoyed golf, crossword puzzles, and was an avid reader. He will be especially remembered for his love of animals and never missing a day of work. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Foos, step father Hermon Schott, his wife, Jan and grandson Zachary Price. Survivors include his mother, Bertha Reisig Foos Schott; daughters, Kari Price & husband Todd; Kristi Wolf & husband Tony; brother, George Schott & wife Helen; two sisters, Kathleen Bishop & husband Jackie; Carol Wood & husband Eddie. Grandchildren, Jacob Price, Kaylee Wolf, Kasilyn Price, and Joshua Price. Step-children James Wilber, Jeanie Desherow, Sally Linhart, Jennifer Wadlow, Kyle Kilpatrick and Chanda Kilpatrick and their children, Nicole, Mandi, Michael, Robert, Cecil, D.J. and Jake, numerous nieces, nephews, and
other loved ones. Viewing will be Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home with the family receiving friends on Tuesday from 5-7 PM. Services to celebrate his life will be 11 AM Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the South Lakes Chapel of Vondel Smith Mortuary. Memorials may be made in Hank's name to the Charity of Donor's Choice
