Memorial Service 10 AM Saturday, June 16, 2012 Southern Hills Baptist Church Henry Phillip Wadsworth was born April 11, 1934 on a farm east of Hoffman, OK to Dan and Lillie Wadsworth. He was the 5th of 8 children. Henry graduated from Henryetta High School and attended East Central State University. After spending two years in the United States Army including being stationed in Japan, he went to work for the CR Anthony Company and managed stores in Santa Fe, NM, Henryetta, Oklahoma, and the Reding Store in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. While at CR Anthony Company, Henry won multiple high achievement awards for being High Salesman and managing the most efficient store in the chain. He was a member of the South Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and a Civic Leader for South Oklahoma City businessmen for many years. He was a member of Henryetta's Finest Social Group. After 17 years with CR Anthony Company, he went into business for himself founding several businesses including; Henry's Bargain Outlet, Henry Wadsworth's Fabrics, Worthtex Inc, cofounder of M&W Manufacturing Company and H J Sales, Philtex Fabrics, and Worth Fabrics. Henry married Ada Belle Sapp on March 8, 1959. Together they had 3 children Elizabeth Ann, Phillip Dan, and Charles Gregory. Henry and Ada lived in South Oklahoma City until Henry's passing from this life on June 13, 2012 at the age of 78. Henry was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Lillie Wadsworth, brother John Wadsworth; sisters Darlene Eslick and Cora Skieth; and a son Charles Gregory Wadsworth. Survivors include his wife of 53 years Ada; a son Phillip Dan Wadsworth, and a daughter Elizabeth Wadsworth Bennett and husband Randall Bennett. There are three granddaughters, Sarah Niles Brown; Larah Niles; and Briannah Bennett. There are four great grand children; Brielle Bennett, Londyn Bennett, Rylie Brown and Kennedy Brown. Henry also had three step grandchildren: Lorrie Bennett Hart and husband Brian Hart, Melissa Bennett McGeHee, and Brandon Bennett. There are three step great grand children; Adriana McGehee, Chandler McGehee, and Sophie Hart.
