Services held 10:00 A.M. Friday, November, 18, 2011 at Capitol Hill Assembly of God Church with interment following at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
Rev. Herb E. Hull passed away on November 16, 2011. He was born on November 20, 1936 in Jeannette, PA to Robert and Gertrude Hull. Herb met the love of his life, Norma McConahy at Jeannette First Assembly Of God while in high school and they married on August 17, 1957. Herb and Norma made their way to Springfield, Missouri where Herb attended Central Bible College to pursue his first love, the ministry. He would soon become the proud father of three sons, Don, David and Dale. Pastor Hull touched many lives over nearly 50 years of ministry. He pastored churches in Pennsylvania, Indiana and Oklahoma and he served as a Presbyter and Executive Presbyter for the Indiana District of the Assemblies of God. Upon retiring from full time ministry, he continued to touch lives as a Chaplain for Excell Home Care and Hospice in Oklahoma City. As a Chaplain he ministered to those in the final days of their lives, as well as their families with spiritual guidance, love and compassion. Herb will be deeply missed by all who loved him and whose lives were encouraged by his extraordinary kindness.
