Herman Doyle Crowley, 98, passed from this life Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was born August 28, 1923 in Vinson, Oklahoma the son of Fred Lee and Esther Edna (Trench) Crowley. After completing high school, Herman proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was married to Ruth G. Riley for 75 years. Herman was a Mason and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a deacon and member of Village Baptist Church. Herman was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth; and sisters, Helen Overton and Melba Fox. He leaves cherished memories with his son, David Crowley and wife Judy; and grandson, Jeff Kitchens and wife Jennifer; great-grandsons, Garrett Kitchens and wife, Megan, Seth Kitchens, and Nate Kitchens. Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, October 25, 2021 at Village Baptist Church. Interment will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Independence Cemetery in Vinson, Oklahoma.
