Visitation 4-8pm Jan. 21, 2016 at the funeral home with family present to greet guest from 6-8pm.

Funeral service: 2pm Jan. 22, 2016 at Southern Hills Baptist Church with burial following at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Hershel, 85, passed away on Jan 17, 2016. The son of Dee & Cora Baker, Hershel was born on Aug 9, 1930 in Chickasha, OK. He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force after graduating high school. He married the love of his life, Patsy, on Dec 24, 1955 and together shared 60 years of marriage. He retired from Tinker AFB in 1987 after 34 years working as a computer programmer. Hershel was a long time member of the Gideons and served as a deacon at Southern Hills Baptist Church. His most precious moments were those spent with his family.

Hershel was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves behind:

his loving wife, Patsy;

daughter, Cheryl & husband Clay;

brother, Marvin & wife LaMatha;

sisters: Norma Jean & husband Don,

Francis & husband Paul,

Ruetta & husband Don;

grandchildren:

Ericka, Lauren & husband Ben,

Lacey & husband Josh;

great grandchildren: Trey, Jase, Jessie and one more on the way.
