Obituary

Imogene Ford (Tidwell), 93, of Oklahoma City, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, November 1st. She was born May 20, 1927 in Byars, OK to Edward L. and Willie A. Tidwell (Haynes). Imogene graduated from Apache High School in 1946. She went on to work for many years at Southwestern Bell and the Oklahoma Retailers Association Credit Bureau. Her Christian faith along with spending time and taking care of her family were her top priorities in life. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family. She is survived by her brother, Dub Tidwell; daughter, Marcia Rowlan; three grandchildren, Charles Rowlan and wife Melissa, Andrew Rowlan and wife Liza, Stuart Rowlan and wife Stephanie; seven great-grandchildren, Hunter, Charlie, Caroline, Hayes, Rhett, Luke and Heath; and many other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of nearly 66 years, Euel Ford; parents; and brothers, Wayne Tidwell and Edward L. Tidwell, Jr. Viewing will be held at Vondell L. Smith Mortuary North, 13125 N Macarthur Blvd in Oklahoma City from 2 to 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 5th. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, November 6th at Heritage Burial Park at South Lakes, 4000 SW 119th in Oklahoma City.
