Born in Byars, Oklahoma on March 6, 1924 to Gooley Roy and Rosetta (Flowers) Rycroft, after a long, productive and grace filled life, Inez R. Copelin passed peacefully into eternal life on January 12, 2021. A member of a hardworking family, Inez enjoyed her work. After completing business college in the 1950's she began a long career in bookkeeping working for Kerr-McGee, Battle Uniform Company, Doric Corporation, and had a very long career working for Dawn Energy Corporation and David L. Murphy, until fully retiring in 2016. Having been predeceased by her parents and her elder brothers Elmer L. Rycroft, Homer L. Rycroft and William Perry Rycroft, she is survived by her son, Fr. Boniface Timothy Copelin, O.S.B. of St. Gregory's Abbey in Shawnee, Oklahoma and many other family members and friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16th in the Vondel Smith Mortuary North Chapel, 13125 N.
