Viewing will be 4-8 PM Tuesday & Wednesday with family greeting friends Wednesday from 6-8 PM at Vondel Smith Mortuary at South Lakes (4000 SW 119th St).

Services to celebrate her life will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, Jan 14, 2016 at New Heights Baptist Church (1414 SW 119th St) with burial following at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Evelyn went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 9, 2016 at the age of 85. The daughter of Henry & Gertrude Barcus, she was born February 25, 1930 in Barberton, OH. After graduation from Barberton H.S. she married her lifetime sweetheart, Bob Stuart. Together they moved their family to OKC in 1966 and celebrated more than 61 years together. Evelyn was an avid & recognized bowler. She won many WIBC tournaments, and bowled up until 2014. She was inducted into the Oklahoma City Bowling Hall of Fame in 2008. Evelyn loved her Lord & had a servant's heart for others, and especially for her family. She was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a faithful member of New Heights Baptist Church since 1966. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob; grandson, Austin Reeves Sharp; one brother, Hank Barcus & three sisters, Grace Alvarez, Dot Narney, & Barb Draffan. She leaves behind her son Gary Stuart and wife Holly; daughter Robin Sharp & husband Dave; sister, Ilene McKee; grandchildren: Beth Hand & husband Guy, Abbey McClellan & husband Matt, Nick Stuart, Maggie Stuart Taylor and family, Laura & Charlie; Matthew Sharp, Angela Sharp, & Kayla Sharp; great-granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth Hand; special nephew Dennis Narney; as well as countless friends, & loving family members.
