Masks are required to attend the service on Monday, April 12, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the South Colonial Chapel with burial to follow at Moore City Cemetery. Irene Ann Petrick, 81, of Tulsa Oklahoma passed away on April 5, 2021. She was born on January 28, 1940 to John Otho and Molly Ester Jones in Moore, Oklahoma. Irene graduated from Moore High School in 1958 where she was crowned Homecoming Football queen and participated as head cheerleader. On May 2, 1977 she married Bob Petrick and together they enjoyed more than 27 years together. The Petrick family moved from Norman to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1988. Irene enjoyed sewing, photography and gardening. She also had a passion for genealogy with her sister, Inez. They loved studying family histories and tracing their lineage together. She especially loved her family and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed. Those preceding her in death include her: Parents, Otho and Ester; Husband, Robert Petrick; Sisters, Edna DaVoult and Inez Anderson; Brother, Earl Jones; Niece, Connie DaVoult; And nephew Randy Anderson. Surviving family includes: Son, Douglas Adams and wife, Claudia; Son, Curtis Adams; Son, Robert Howard Petrick and wife, Allison; Granddaughters: Candace Adams who was raised by Bob and Irene since the age of 7, and Kristina Adams. Brother in law, Lonnie DaVoult; Nieces, Teresa Anderson, Linda Jones Howeth and Rebecca "Becky" Jones; And her beloved cats, Topanga and Baby Girl.
